Those guys are waking up and tries to get warm in the sun. I know some people are scared of them but these are of no danger to us. No poison here. And, does it not look cozy with all those bodies in tangled? You can also see they are of different age. The larger the head is, the older the snake is. But compared with the leafs you can tell they are quite small. These snakes winter in a slope at a small stream. When they are warmed up they will go fishing.

I like them, this snake we call Snok, is special to me.

  2. Interesting how they get so tangled. It must help them maintain a higher body temperature than if they were all alone. (Just guessing,)

  5. Oh yeah, they are nice and it looks so quiet and cozy. I've never seen so many at one place, with us snakes are very rare and stupid people they kill :-(
