This is what it looks like where I live these days. They are digging up everywhere to change our watersystem.  Not fun really.

Stendörren is a Nature Reserve and the only place where I have seen this kind of fence. It´s created with a lot of thinner branches stacked inside two rows of poles. No wires needed. Looks weird but works.

Old barn at Krämbol

This old barn is no longer in use. They have closed all entrances so I can´t peek in and see what is there. But I think it was a stall for cattle. This summer I noticed it really started to fall apart. There are holes in the roof.

There is a family of greylag goose at the end of the path :)

I have been away for 4 days. I went down to Öland. An island in the south part of Sweden just outside the coast. To get there you have to pass a bridge from the mainland to Öland. It´s a 6h drive to get there and my back don´t really like it.

Arriving at the south point you first enter a large area where animals, (cattle, sheep and deer) walk freely. So you have to drive carefully. There are birds on the road as well of course. But the cows and the sheep are the worst ones. They just stop on the road just looking back at you. Just moving at their own pace.

This seemed to be a busy situation. When the woman turned around she had a phone between her jaw and sholder.

Most time when you see this happen there are several birds chasing the raptor away.  Mostly gulls or crow family. But this gull was alone and still chased the eagle away.

Well, no, it is not my cat. But I have seen this one in a number of strange places. How easy is it to jump up there? Or a windowsill on the outside the building?

My rainy day

The first part of the day I set up the new computers. Top image shows how my computer corner looks right now. Three computers, a printer and three cameras. All needed to get things to work properly. In my world. Too much? Yea, sometimes I think so.

The afternoon was spent on motor vehicle inspection and shopping. And, of course, the camera followed to document things. Like the reflections and distortions because of the rain. My car was fine. No problems.

I went to Kvismaren yesterday. It was a nice but slightly cold and windy day. This place is located about 60 km inland from my hometown in Sweden. The cranes and swans was almost all gone up north. But I did see some  interesting waders and ducks. Also on their way up north. We had a very cold Easter weekend so I guess that is why they left early.
