From a distance this horse looked peculiar. But then I realized it had a protective net covering most part of it´s head to keep the flies away.

Beautiful horse but I can't imagine that the cover could be comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI suppose it is better than having flies constantly around your eyes. I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello, I have seen the horses wearing these protective covers. The flies are such a bother, it is good have the horses feel comfy.Great shots! Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen this before - what a great idea! Lovely shots.....thanks for sharing this.....Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteJag har sett liknande skydd några gånger. Ha en trevlig helg!
ReplyDeleteI remember being horrified the first time I saw one of those on a horse. My husband, the former farm boy, had to explain what it was for (and that the horse could still see). ;))
ReplyDeleteFlies that bite are a huge pain for me when I'm outdoors.
ReplyDeleteCan't imagine how bad it is for the poor horses.

thanks!
ReplyDeleteAm late, but how serendipitous - I also showed a horse for Eileen's Sat. Critters. Have never seen this protective gear!
