Young bulls of the old red species and the last white cows of the newer white species.
In Sweden we cows are often used to "keep the land open" but three young bulls have no chance to keep the pasture open. This area looks open enough, but they avoid the bad ones.

Hampetorp ferry to Vinön

Hampetorp ferry to Vinön.
This is one of Swedens largest lakes and is located app 30 km north of where I live. The Ferry goes to the largest island in the lake but not the ones seen in these images. It takes about 25 min to get to Vinön (name means Wine island) I have never done the trip but maybe next summer I will. As you can see it is well guarded by Hooded crows :)

I took these with my new NIKON COOLPIX P9000 camera. All taken from the same position and not cropped. Handhold and a bit windy. So, a bit tricky. The camera works fine but you can´t use it for fast shots.  The tree in the second image is  European larch.

The bird is Barn swallow. They landed in the trees furthest  away in the image.  Some of them are still here but will soon go south again.

These animals are becoming popular in Sweden. I guess both for their wool and cuteness. These are about 45 min drive from where I live. The animals in these images are female and young.
