Trees n Bushes 40 Holiday decoration

NF Trees n Bushes 40

Welcome to NF Trees n Bushes meme.

I have always liked trees and have lots of them in my files that I never got around to post. I assume that many of you have it too. So, for this meme is not about running around taking shots today. You can as well dig in your files for those gems never posted. Trees and bushes comes in many shapes and forms and they look different as the year go by. Many of them has flowers and are showing autumn colors. They change always.

This is Christmas and New Year decorations downtown when the first sun shines in. The bare row of trees are included in the festive decorations. The trees are likely to be a kind of Willow. They are cut very close to the trunk in a way common in the south part of Sweden. In this case I think, mostly because they should not cover the buildings too much.

This is, obviously, the last edition for 2015. Next week is another year starting. I wish all of you a festive New Years  Eve.

  5. The decorations are festive and beautiful. As for the Willows ... here the biggest problem we have with Willows are their gigantic strangling root systems. Maybe by keeping them cut back it limits the root growth as well ... that would be a good thing in this location because they would be pushing up the street and ripping at the plumbing in the buildings. These are beautiful shots, Monica ... I am going to slowly ease myself back in to blogging. I have much to do this week, still ... but I miss my blog friends :)
