This is a dam at a water cleaning facility about 25 km from my town. I stood in the tower overlooking the dam. Watching Mallard ducklings and Goldeneye´s. Suddenly I noticed a movment in between the dam and the fence. It was a red fox. It did not seem to mind the birds at all. But stopped for a while and checked the area. I think it had noticed I was there but could not see me. Then it took off.

When it comes to shadows I like the shadow from the running image. With no contact.

  2. My husband was a fox hunter (the dogs didn't catch them, just gave them a good chase) so these pictures brought back many memories for me. Thanks.

  5. Great capture! My sister has a wild fox who visits her back yard. I'm there for the weekend, but no luck so far. I get up at 5:30 to see if he's there...

  7. We will soon be seeing ducklings in our channels, but the fox are not here this year. I think they diminished the food supply last year and will move elsewhere until it builds back up. These are great shots, Monica, especially the one of him in mid air. They are such beautiful creatures ...
