Welcome to NF Trees n Bushes meme.

 I have always liked trees and have lots of them in my files that I never got around to post. I assume that many of you have it too. So, for this meme is not about running around taking shots today. You can as well dig in your files for those gems never posted. Trees and bushes comes in many shapes and forms and they look different as the year go by. Many of them has flowers and are showing autumn colors. They change always.

This is Christmas and New Year decorations downtown when the first sun shines in. The bare row of trees are included in the festive decorations. The trees are likely to be a kind of Willow. They are cut very close to the trunk in a way common in the south part of Sweden. In this case I think, mostly because they should not cover the buildings too much.

This is, obviously, the last edition for 2015. Next week is another year starting. I wish all of you a festive New Years  Eve.

Oak

This oak stands in the country south of my town. It is huge but it´s fine shape makes it somehow look smaller then it is. I had a hard time getting it in the frame :)

As Christmas is around the corner maybe I should have had a Christmas tree. I don´t have a tree this year as my family is scattered all over the globe. We will celebrate with the help of SKYPE.

This is a birch that fell down during the storms a week ago. It is in a fenced area and might be left there by the owner. Some birds and other winged ones will benefit from it. The little bit of bark laying beside the trunk was decorated nicely with frost.

Next week is Christmas week and many will be engaged in celebrations.  Still I will run the meme as usual. If someone gets bored with celebrations you can still play :)

A new bridge

This is the new bridge replacing the one that was broken last March. It took 9 months to get a new one. During that time it was a problem travelling around the lake. Especially for farmers. 

This is a wooden bridge entirely as I heard and took three months to build. It was built in the northern part of Sweden and took several days to transport to my town. They will open it today.

Fallen tree at Ramsjöhult

This passing week has been hard. Several storms has hit Sweden, Norway and Britain. Large areas has been flooded. Electricity and communications has been cut off.

Where I live we were quite spared. Some trees fallen, like the one above, and you needed to "hold your hat" when going outdoors. We had the warmest December ever so far. Even if it is -2 deg C  below Zero today.

For some reason I would have wanted the storms to hit Pairs so the Climate conference people would agree on what is needed to agree upon.

This week we had frost and the first snow. For a little while the sun came out and I took a walk. The tree in the first image still have some leafs left. I think it is an apple tree that has been cut several times to create that shape.
The second area has trees  and bushes leading to an open area.

 Rainbow Eucayptus at Dole plantation, Oahu

Two years ago I visited Oahu, one of the Hawaiian islands. You know, the one with Waikiki Beach. :)
The  Rainbow Eucayptus trees grows at Dole plantation. The place where they grow our pineapples. They had great dishes with pineapple and even icecream.
The lady in pink is my daughter. :)

This tree has a very colorful trunk. They look like abstract arr.
