Eriksberg Castle reflection

Eriksberg Castle

This is one of the castles rather close to where I live. About 20 km. The lake reflected the castle has rather low waterlevel right now. That is the reason why the reflection in the second image is so clear. Normally the water flows from the lake above to the river below. Now the floodgate next to the building is closed.

Sturehof castle

This is another of the smaller castles that I can reach within a 2h drive. But it was actually the first visit for me. A trouble with places like this is that they always seem to be renovating them when I come, so no fun to shoot them. The castle has a cafeteria and you can buy lunch. After we had some refreshment we walked down the avenue to the beach of lake Mälaren. This place is just south of Stockholm. They have some nice trees there. The two large dark ones is Blood Maple.

 That was me from a hot Sweden. How is your place?

Welcome to the first edition of the NF Tree n Bushes meme.

 I have always liked trees and have lots of them in my files that I never got around to post. I assume that many of you have it too. So, for this meme is not about running around taking shots today. You can as well dig in your files for those gems never posted. Trees and bushes comes in many shapes and forms and they look different as the year go by. Many of them has flowers and are showing autumn colors. They change always.

The avenue of Täckhammar

Täckhammar (Cover Hammer) is an estate in Bärbo parish in the municipality of Nyköping Södermanland. It is situated on Lake Långhalsen west of the Nyköping River valley. I was only passing by but I liked the long avenue of old oaks. :)
