Trees n Bushes 22 Outside my house

NF Trees n Bushes 22

Welcome to the first edition of the NF Tree n Bushes meme.

I have always liked trees and have lots of them in my files that I never got around to post. I assume that many of you have it too. So, for this meme is not about running around taking shots today. You can as well dig in your files for those gems never posted. Trees and bushes comes in many shapes and forms and they look different as the year go by. Many of them has flowers and are showing autumn colors. They change always.

This is the building in which I live. But my apartment is on the other side so the trees is not in my view. Unless I go out. The closest one with red berries is a Rönn, in English called rowan or mountain-ash. Not much berries this time so we will probably not be visited by waxwings this fall.

The large tree behind it is Maple, a red one. We call it Blodlönn, which means Blood maple in English. It seems to be Chinese in origin. When the light is head on the tree appear very dark brown-red but in backlight, it glows. It is stunning.

  1. Nice trees in your neighborhood!
Earlier I had old linden by the house, were I've was living, they was on the other side too and when I came out of the door, have enoyed their smell in the dark early morning before my workday..
Today it's only a plumtree, but it is my own house.

  3. It's nice to have large trees around your apartment building, even if you don't have direct view of them.

  4. What a relief ... when I first looked at your picture I thought it was fall colors already and I am not ready for that even though our temperatures have been very fall like in the 50's at night and 70's in the day time. These are lovely trees. We have the blood maples here as well, but I don't see them often. As for maples in Spring, they drop all of those little seed pods and they fly all over the place ... Natures way of spreading the seed, but sure is a mess to clean up. Beautiful pictures, Monica ...

  6. The red maple is pretty commonly seen here in California. Also in Japanese gardens (so I don't know whether it's Chinese or Japanese in origin).
