It´s obvious, spring is here but ice still on the shallow water behind the main building. And new arrivals are sliding on it. But for tomorrow the weather forecast says: SNOW, a lot! Confusing, isn´t it?

We are more confused by the fact that it is still winter and the ice on the lake has melted ... The migrating birds must have known because we get new groups every day. These are beautiufl pictures, Monica ... especially love the Whooper Swands :)

Wonderful photos. And it's almost time for the Canada Geese to return to our little corner of Canada—southeastern Alberta. The ice is breaking up on the South Saskatchewan River, so spring can't be far behind. Unless we get another freeze-up, which is always possible!

Beautiful mansion with a lake outside.
ReplyDeleteI like how the mansion has two different parts that somehow fit together.

ReplyDeleteWhooper Swans are always great to see. Ours will all be leaving very soon.
ReplyDeleteAmazing mansion and it's beautifully captured with birds. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteIt truly looks like springs. Not good you are going to get more snow. We are getting conflicting weather info too. After some very hot day, we got cold and winds. I am not sure how long it is going to last. #OurWorldTuesday
ReplyDeleteLovely spring photos :-)
ReplyDeleteI like these birds. They are sign of the spring.
