NF Trees n Bushes 16

Welcome to the first edition of the NF Tree n Bushes meme.

 I have always liked trees and have lots of them in my files that I never got around to post. I assume that many of you have it too. So, for this meme is not about running around taking shots today. You can as well dig in your files for those gems never posted. Trees and bushes comes in many shapes and forms and they look different as the year go by. Many of them has flowers and are showing autumn colors. They change always.

This sight is still rather common in Sweden. But becomes less frequent year by year. This is not milking cows as the calf´s are with them. But it is so nice to see the natural behavior of the cattle. Not the "factory" treatment so many have nowadays. When calf´s are taken from the cow at birth.

Time for you to ad your trees and bushes. With or without cows :)

A rainy day swifts and ducks

Leaving the tower I have to pass this short boardwalk

To get to the car I have to pass this gate and walk for about 5 min through the forest to the parking.

As you can see from the images the rain varied a lot but never stopped. I was surprised to see all ducks already going south. And the swifts so low due to the rain and they too early to gather like this.
It was too dark to get good shots so I leave it for now.

Every time I take a walk down town I am passing this graveyard. It is quite beautiful and I love the trees. I think this is some kind of birch. The gardeners usually keep them all flat at the same level so people don´t have to bend below them. But this summer.... maybe the budget was cut short.  The trees in the last image don´t seem to be trimmed like the first cone chaped young tree. . :(

This is a place outside my town where there are some remains of an old mill. The word "kvarn" means mill. The last one was not powered by the water but by an engine that is still here. This is a watersysten that goes half of Sweden. There is lakes,and streams all the way down to the coast of the Baltic sea. And this place is about 80 km from the coast. The water level difference on both sides of this bridge is about 2m
